I thought it was great to see the differences between our culture and all some others. I found the guest speeker from Iraq to be very eye opening. She was able to show that the steriotypical Iraqi is not really how they are.

Most Iraqis are well educated and can speek english. The media shows all the  people of a Iraq wearing turbans and headresses i now know this is not necessarly true. The men may dress in any way they choose as well as the women. They have the right to choose to wear the muslum headresses.

I was also tought that although the war in the view of the media has destroyed the lives of Iraqis many of them understand what has to happen. Also the Media shows the down side of things when in all actuallity many good things are going on. I also found it interesting to see the rights they have gained since the Saddam era. I found all this very intersting because what we see and what we believe as the truth is not always so.
